Welcome to the Old Homosassa Heritage Council website.

The Goal of the OHHC is to educate, inspire, and strengthen our community identity by preserving and sharing the history of Old Homosassa and our mission is to protect and enhance Old Homosassa’s heritage for present and future generations.

Our first project is to restore and maintain the Old Homosassa Water Tower.  This is only possible with your donations.

Over $20,000 has already been raised and the work has begun.  $45,000 is still needed to do the painting and more will be necessary for the yearly maintenance on the water tower.

We have four current fund raisers.

The first is our new high quality t-shirt design available in vibrant colors with a beautiful graphic design on the back.

Click on the order form below to download.

There are also can and bottle coozies for a $5 donation.

Doug and Kim Bossick of Old Homosassa Golf Karts have donated a golf cart.  Tickets are available for $5.  Several members have the tickets plus they are at Triton Lumber, 6971 W. Homosassa Trail, Homosassa.  Watch for the golf cart with the “Win Me” sign on the back.  The driver also has tickets! (and maybe a few coozies available!) The drawing will be November 13, 2016 at the Homosassa Arts, Crafts, and Seafood Festival.
